Five days and four nights camping along the shores of sparkling Mission Bay watching the fastest boats in the world. The 2009 races include crowd favorites like, the Unlimited Light Hydroplanes, Drag Boats [racing both days], Tunnel Hulls, plus many other classes who raced last year. Combined with spectacular beach weather, and off-water entertainment, it’s an unforgettable highlight of summer. Each viewing venue offers a unique perspective of the races and a chance to spend a great weekend with friends and family... there’s something for everyone!

RV Car Parking

All RVers have the opportunity to purchase 3 Day RV Car Passes.
The passes are $35.00 and should be purchased in advanced or with renewal. Passes may not be available for purchase at the race site so be sure to get them early.

The RV Car Parking Passes will allow you to park a car in the following areas:

East Vacation Isle - On the grassy area west of the last row of EVI III RV spaces. Please keep in mind that even though you will have in and out privileges, parking is on a first come, first served basis and this parking area will also be utilized by ticket holders using daily parking.

Crown Point Shores - Cars can be parked behind your RV space on the grass or in the paved parking lots. If you opt to park on the grass, please keep in mind that, per the City of San Diego, once your car is parked on the grass it is parked for the weekend. There will be NO driving on and off the grass, violators will be ticketed. Lot parking is on a first come, first served basis and will be utilized by ticket holders using daily parking.

Fiesta Island - Areas with-in the RV fenced area as space permits, any area where parking is allowed, as space permits.

Move In/Out Dates and Times
RV check-in for Fiesta Island will be 24 hours a day beginning on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. RVs in all areas must vacate the event site no later than 12:00 P.M. Monday, September 21, 2009.

  • EVI - East Side, Bus Stop in Front of Paradise Point
  • Crown Point - In Front Of Ticket Booth

Shuttle to run as follows: Fiesta Island, East Vacation Island, Crown Point.

Shuttles to run every 15 minutes in a continuous circle.
