been part of the community since 1971 touching the lives of more than 50,000 children,
youth and families annually. As a multi-service non-profit agency, our programs
are designed to meet the emerging needs of the whole family. We
offer various programs for current and former foster youth to help them bridge
the gap to adulthood. Trolley Trestle and the new THP-plus offers affordable transitional
housing for former foster youth, parenting youth and homeless youth ages 16 -24
while they finish school or complete job training. During their stay, youth are
provided with various services to help them meet their goals, such as counseling,
life skills, job readiness training, financial literacy, mentoring and case management.
We also offer Independent Living Skills, a series of educational classes and services;
and EXCEL, a job readiness training and internship placement program. San
